I buy this regularly and buy it for the taste and price not the low joule catch.
It is an easy to drink beer and reasonably priced (at least when on special). It must be ok becasue i still buy even thought its a fosters group beer and i have a huge bug up my you know what after they shafted cascade premium selling it for more in smaller bottles and they somehow stuffed up the taste.
I usually buy a carton of different beer as well as a staple which i know i can really on to taste okay and pure blonde fits that staple role well.
Does anyone remember an earlier attempt at low joule beer - diamond draft its going back a few years and mark tubby taylor used to do an ad for it with him being in a bar drinking with a couple of sumo's - going back maybe over 10 yrs now !! the beer taste alright but it used to play havoc with my guts and i'd be farting non stop by the time i was on my third or fourth and would continue for a day or so. needless to say the mrs soon made sure that was off acceptable beer list !!!
